Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival 2016; clear yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has massive peach, taste has big peach, hint of citrus. gegwilson (3701) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2016
Cask in Einstein’s in Chesterfield. Light golden colour rather than the advertised amber, with a frothy off white head. Very fruity apricot aroma. The taste also has a lot of apricot juice. The underlying flavour is slightly thin and metallic. Not my thing, but OK. jjsint (3093) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2016
Handpull cask at the Silk Mill Ale & Cider House, Derby. It’s advertised as an amber ale but it’s actually light gold, hazy with a small white head. Floral and astringent scent with a suggestion of hard citrus and talcum powder. Initial sweet taste, with note than a hint of apricot, finishes with a dry bitter-sourness. Complex compared to other beers of its type, and certainly well-made, but doesn’t quite float my boat. Mr_Pink_152 (4990) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2016

500ml bottle bought at KellenTay Beers in Derby. Loose white head to a shiny golden body. Fresh apricot on the nose. Flavoured with apricot and grass hops. Mid-sweet hoppy ending. Soft in the mouth. Very much on an ordinary level (Sunday session at the hotel room 22.02.2015). Beese (2735) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2014
Cask gravity at the St Albans Beer Festival 2012. Poured a very hazy orange, with a scummy white head. Aroma of apricots, citrus and sherbet. Fruity flavours, with some brown sugar and toasted malt. Finish was toffee, tinned fruit and brown bread. jamesie1857 (2150) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2013
On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Much hyped by my friends who’d had this the night before, so was looking forward to it. Big nose of apricots dominate this, the body looks okay - a bit hazy, but nothing disturbing - and the head laced all the way down. The sweetness of the beer was apparent early on, the apricots again coming through, but leaving the bitterness of a sourer fruit. Unusual, and got a bit fed up of it towards the end.... Bottle, Pale gold hazy beer, no head. Aroma of what may be apricots, just sweeter. Taste is sour fruit, not sure what again could be apricots. Carbonated lager like on the palate. A good beer reminiscent of a belgian.
