August 2017 - Cask, handpull, at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'Derventio Cleopatra'. Nice pump clip. Clear pale golden yellow, big foamy white head. Aroma is apricot and peach. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is vibrant but artificial peach, pretty soapy, apricot and straw, thin and astringent into the finish. Pretty weird. Not my type of thing. UPDATED: AUG 9, 2017 Derventio Cleopatra, 5% - on tap at the GBBF at Kennington Olympia, 2017. Slightly hazy golden yellow. Very nice aroma of oranges, fig, hints of cherry and floral hops. Floral hops and cherry ate strongly noticeable at the start. Medium bitter and still very floral in the middle, with slightly increased bitterness in the finish. Medium long, bitter and floral aftertaste. Decent. RichTheVillan (8110) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2016

Cask in Einstein’s in Chesterfield. Light golden colour rather than the advertised amber, with a frothy off white head. Very fruity apricot aroma. The taste also has a lot of apricot juice. The underlying flavour is slightly thin and metallic. Not my thing, but OK.

Handpull cask at the Silk Mill Ale & Cider House, Derby. It’s advertised as an amber ale but it’s actually light gold, hazy with a small white head. Floral and astringent scent with a suggestion of hard citrus and talcum powder. Initial sweet taste, with note than a hint of apricot, finishes with a dry bitter-sourness. Complex compared to other beers of its type, and certainly well-made, but doesn’t quite float my boat. Mr_Pink_152 (5400) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2016

500ml bottle bought at KellenTay Beers in Derby. Loose white head to a shiny golden body. Fresh apricot on the nose. Flavoured with apricot and grass hops. Mid-sweet hoppy ending. Soft in the mouth. Very much on an ordinary level (Sunday session at the hotel room 22.02.2015).
