Had at the Portlans Pub, 2013.
Aroma is initially dank fruity hops but gives way to a sweet crisp malt and some apple - especially in the flavor. Interesting hybrid. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Decent lager, on tap at the brewery in portland, easy to drink and pretty refreshing cmonster (1000) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Bomber served in a tulip. Pours syrupy clear dark amber with a medium sized head. Decent retention, nice lacing. Aroma has caramel, grass, soy, and light candy. Flavor profile is much the same. Medium body, creamy-sticky texture, light carbonation, and a light bitter, sticky finish. I guess this could be a hopped up vienna. Not bad. Gooney (389) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 9, 2012
22 oz bottle from New Seasons - Pours a rich orange-ish red with a white head. Nice aromas of floral hops. Good malt background. This is a great combination of a lager and an IPA. Nice job, fellas! Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Had this on draft during PDX beer week. Very hoppy and citrus dominant with a malty backbone reminiscent of a dunkel. very interesting and good stuff.

a beautiful looking beer with a thin head but nice lacing. appropriately reddish, has good hop profile and the malts are well done. Very impressed with this one. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Really red and filtered. Hop bitterness in the finish, lightly hopped and sweet malt body Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 8, 2012
12 oz on tap at Beermongers. Reviewed from notes
A: Deep red with thin lacing. Glides off the glass well which I’d say is standard for a lager.
N: There’s a very pronounced hop presence. Grapefruit, pine, and plenty of earthy spices. Some grassy and floral notes.
T: Heavy citrus/grapefruit, unlike the nose which tended towards an ’elemental’ nature. (Get it, earth, air, wind, fire? These things write themselves). The pine and grassyness linger. Malt base is subdued, but it does lend some biscuit notes.
M: Light and refreshing while still having some staying power.
O: A home run, and one which I’ll gladly have time and again. (I made some comments about Humulus Lager which is the only other ’lager’ I’ve had with this kind of hop presence.) Deschutes and HUB, please make this again. Please. Shink (177) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Out of the bottle from Uptown Market. Pours a rich copper color with a lasting tan head. Aroma is hoppy and spicy taste. Mildy spicy yet clean taste. A great collaboration from two of my favorite Oregon breweries. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Tap @ Hopworks Bike Bar... Poured deep amber/red with an eggy head. Nice retention. Nose had NW hops, resinous pepper spice. Clean tasting. Some malt tones that lent towards a breadiness. Hops, slight bitterness that was cut by a clean, lager-esq fermented finish. Low esters.
