Blind tasting at Papsø’sbhensonb (15961) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 4, 2008
Hazy blond color. The aroma is both hoppy and papery. Very simple flavor, dryish, a bit wheaty. Correct bitterness. Nothing special.
Bomber from the Coop in Davis, CA. Slightly hazy gold color with a minimal white head that simply ringed. Light aromas of wheat and spice. Thin plus body with biting, creamy carbonation. Flavor is a little banana with citrus oil and slightly peppery spice notes. It’s pretty refreshing - good in the pool (plastic glass). Finish is lightly banana, and rather dry. Seems to be a wit that wanted to be a hefeweizen. Whatever. Works. Ratman197 (15608) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 17, 2008
Bomber poured a very lightly hazy golden yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, coriander, light citrus and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, coriander and light citrus with a crisp lingering spice finish.Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2009
I don’t know how they can consider this a Wit, it is’nt cloudy, does’nt have much orange zest flavor and no yeast character. Not a Wit in my opinion!
