Bottle shared with me by Dan. THANKS! Snifter pour was black with an off-white one finger head. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, dry nibs, dark nuts, and vanilla. The taste was similar with the roasted malts most dominant and then a hint of dark chocolate. Not sweet at all. Relatively dry finish. Some coffee. Texture was medium for a porter. Modest carbonation. But overall it was a good porter.
Bottle from a supermarket in Brookings, Oregon. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, coffee, soft roast, chocolate, hint of vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet and light to moderate bitter. Body is medium. Simply an allround good Porter. Nicke80 (700) - Södertälje, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2017

Klares dunkelbraun mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Röstmalzig, dunkle Schokolade, Kakao, etwas Kaffee, würzig, leicht cremig. LearninBeer (577) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 5, 2017
The aroma is malts, some coffee, roasty. Pours dark brown with light tan head, mostly diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter/sweet. The body is medium/full, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter. a good beer. M4grem (57) - North Carolina, USA - MAY 31, 2017
An excellent project tree. Mine was a little too cold so couldn't really experience it's delicious flavors till it was too late. But enjoyed none the less.

It pours black with a light brown head. It has aromas of roast and chocolate. The flavors add sweet fruity esters like cherries. Bitterness is low. crazy_cat_lady (536) - - MAY 25, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2017 Bottle in San Carlos from a store whose name I don’t recall. Pitch black with tan head. Very faint aroma of cola, roasted malt, coffee. Tastes of cola and roasted barley, with some light coffee and chocolate notes. I was expecting better based on the rating in ratebeer. 574deadzone (1415) - North Central, Indiana, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Pours dark brown with a thinner khaki head that leaves some spotty lace. Nose involves milk chocolate, nutty notes, toasted malt, a light hint of smoke, and cherry. Fairly sweet, decently bitter. Lighter to medium bodied, actively carbed, slick feel, with a toasty chocolaty finish. A decent dark session beer, but it’s missing something for me. I’d love some rye-influenced spicy, maybe a more pronounced roasted note. sm89walt (2064) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 22, 2017
Bottle - Shady Pines, Sydney. An opaque brown with a small but mostly lasting, somewhat lacing light tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, dark and dried fruits, and smoke. The palate echoes the nose with an additional creamy vanilla characters. Medium to full in body, medium carbonation with an oily mouthfeel and a long finish.
