Deep dark brown body, smallish diminishing dark beige head. Hops are quite subdued in this one. Very malty aroma. Notes of vanilla, roasted barley. Coffee-chocolate flavors. Finish is light, roasty and sweet.

Pours a very dark brown with some ruby red shining through when held up to the light with a nice two finger creamy tan head. The aroma is chocolate, nutttines, medium roasted barley, and medium roasted coffee. The flavor is the same with a velvety mouth feel. The drinkability is high.

Bottle from Val-U. Pours a deep, coffee colored brown/black with a small head that dissipates quickly. Bakers chocolate, coffee & faint vinous aromas. Smooth with some light fruit and dark chocolate. A touch of smoked cacao in the finish. Nice stuff.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine and More The porter poured an opaque black.with a small tan head and modest lacing. Aroma of roasted chocolate malts with some coffee but feint. The flavor is slightly sweet with chocolate and smooth roasted malt. The porter has a medium body but soft carbonation. The finish is clean with some lingering chocolate in each swallow.
