COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our 26th anniversary imperial porter was aged in bourbon barrels and dry spiced with theo chocolate’s cocoa nibs, revealing hints of vanilla and chocolate. Pomegranate molasses and Oregon cranberries complement the robust flavor with a hint of fruits and just enough tart to make you smile. Note:- Best After date can be found stamped on the left-hand side of the label.

22oz bomber pulled from the cellar. Dark brown pour, almost black coloring. Low carbonation with thin white lacing once settled. Aroma of chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, and fruits. Taste is very smooth and follows the aromas noted. A bit tart with the addition of cranberry. Well done, look forward to each years release. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours sark brown, almost black, opaque with foamy light brown long lasting head. Aroma: dark malts, pomegranate, molasses, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, bourbon-like aroma...flavour is more intense: malt flavour takes on caramel, toasted toffee, coffee, milk chocolate, supported with molasses, dark chocolate, slightly tart notes of cranberries & pomegranate, gentle astringency, bourbon-like alcohol note. Slightly dry, tart finish. Full body, smooth texture, moderate medium carbonation. Great.

From 22iz bottle to snifter. Pour is a dark brown, thick beige head that dissipates quickly. Nose is big roasted malt, cherries, chocolate, vanilla, light coffee. Taste is sweet, heavy bodied. Finishes very silky. Great complexity.

Aromas of cherry, cranberry, cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, toasted oak, booze. Black with a fairly lasting beige head. Sweet, boozy, oaky, earthy. Full bodied.

6/13/15 Bottle date. Musty alcohol on the nose. Hints of bitter chocolate, burnt brown sugar, and a whiff of vanilla. Ebony with nice deep tan head. Very sweet up front. Acidic dark berry flavors mixed in with dark chocolate malty notes. Bitterness is hidden by acidic tones from cranberries. Musty almost sour jolt comes next. Slightly slick mouth feel. Finish is mostly sour, with alcohol burn. Nice and warm and well made but not my cup of tea.
