Another fantastic annual offering. Bomber pulled from the cellar. Dark chocolate pour with mild carbonation that settles out. Aroma of chocolate, booze, vanilla, orange, & peated malt. Taste mimics the aroma identically, extremely smooth, great mouthfeel. Premier barrel aged beer.

It is nice, very nice, 650ml bottle. Pour is lovely aroma is bitter chocolate orange. Taste is quite intense with noticeable alcohol, The layers of orange and that cocoa are lovely, giving way to a quite bitter and unfinished finish. SebBrews (216) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - NOV 29, 2017
Pours deep brown with medium tan head. Nose is hugely complex: dark roasted malts, charred oak, caramelized orange peel, brown sugar, vanilla and discrete whiskey. And so is the taste: sweet caramels and malts upfront, doubled by scotch/bourbon-soaked oak barrel. Bittery and smokey character in the aftertaste. Low carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Full bodied. Wow, just wow. IndianaRed (5059) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 24, 2017
On tap at Black Friday. Clear deep dark brown. Medium roast and barrel flavors. Carmel toasted malts and smooth feel. Some chocolate notes as well. alexsdad06 (10951) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - NOV 18, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2017 22 oz bottle at home. Pours a dark cola brown color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor have big dark chocolate character, molasses, mild orange, dark fruits, scotch barrel, light smoke, wood, vanilla, roast, some spices to the finish, good flavor and I look forward to next year.

Black color, small brown head. Aromas of chocolate, bourbon, raisins, soy, roasted hints, vanilla and slight orange peel. Taste of bourbon, vanilla, alcohol, peat, chocolate and burnt brownies. Lovely taste, robust but well balanced. jake65 (4003) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - NOV 4, 2017
Bottle with about a year spent in the beer fridge. Very dark brown pour with a thick, but quick to dissipate brown head. Big aroma of rich malty sweetness, bittersweet cocoa, light bourbon barrel. Taste is heavily sweet, lots of dark chocolate malt, vanilla, and some woody barrel notes. Lingering bourbon barrel sweet end. Faint notes of the scotch barrel and a little bit of smoky peat, but very faint. Somewhat boozy, but great to sip on and warm up as the fall temps have arrived. Late in the glass, as it continues to warm, a little of the orange/citrus starts to emerge in the air. AndyW68 (1632) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 13, 2017
Black pour with dark tan head. Aroma is roast chocolate malt and sweet vanilla. Taste has coffee and chocolate. The bourbon and scotch is noticeable. Really lie this. gyllenbock (9990) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 11, 2017
Bottle, thanks Eddan. Black with a medium tan head. A pleasant one with dark malt, chocolate, some dried fruit and cocoa. Smooth and nicely drinkable. SirLimpsalot (4551) - SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2017
@ Eddan 17-9-16: Mycket trevlig med toner av torkat frukt samt lite choklad och vanilj i eftersmaken. Len och fin
