COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Pours a cloudy white with a thinnish white head. Aroma lime citrus yumminess. Flavor is watery not as full flavored.

Hazy yellow with a med white head. Lemon peel, grass, and a mint hint that I can’t put my finger on. Very good.

Had this at R.J. Grunts and it really hit the spot after a day at Lincoln Park Zoo. It’s a good pub beer.

Have loved everything out of the bend so far, so figured I’d give their Belgian IPA a whirl. Bottle 341ml from work. 5.6% Not as citrusy on the nose as expected, but grapefruit, lemon notes are present, mild yeasty whiff. A pilsner malt forward, yeasty IPA, but this has its complexities, the grassiness of pilsner malts, a mild yeasty sourness, and a low-medium bitterness round out the palate. Good.

Pours a hazy light golden color with a fairly small head and bits of lacing. Aroma of mild citrus with fruit, wheat, mild malt sweetness and bit of spice. Taste of fruit, mild malt sweetness, grainy wheat with bit of spice and citrus. Has a mild bitterness and a nice dry finish. Fairly medium body, hops seem restrained, smooth, with a refreshing feel. Nicely balanced. Nice beer that reminds me more of a Belgian Ale that an IPA. Still an enjoyable beer without being overstated.

Sampled in a six pack. A nice easy drinking ipa. Quality ingredients that are certainly worth a try.

Great white IPA. The hops are present but not overwhelming. The aroma of this beer seem to be comparable to a standard Belgian ale which rounds this beer out nicely.

Very cloudy straw color. Thin white head. Lemony aroma. Quite a bit of wheat flavor and yeast---almost more of a hefe feel to this than an IPA. Very drinkalble.

From bottle. Hazy pale golden color. Aroma of bubblegum, clove, apple, and light yeast. Taste is of a wit paired with a light Belgian ale and an IPA: bubblegum, pine hops, clove, light yeast, and slight bitterness. Really pleasing hybrid of styles.

hay, cereal, spruce, citrus, pale, cloudy, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, very bitter, medium body, creamy, slick feel, average carbonation, long finish Bottle
