Brewed with wheat and pilsner malt; this IPA displays beautiful citrus aromas from Cascade and Citra hops that meld with the esters of Belgian yeast. Think thirst quenching hopped-up wit beer with enough IBUs to warrant the IPA name.

Draft at Haymarket. Pours a hazed gold with a stiff white head. The nose shows a kiss of dank citra, but mostly more muted. Fruity esters and orange peel, light citrus and wheat. Clean with a Belgian slant. On tasting, moderately high bitterness, kind of bland on the palate otherwise. Some orange peel and a cleanness. Not bad but not as bombastic as I’d like. Okay.

On tap at Muddy Waters in Minneapolis. I think I was surprised with this brew and ended up liking it more than others did.

Hazy yellow with short white head. Huge amount of citrus in the aroma - lemon and grapefruit. crisp medium light body with bright citrus and wheat flavors. Not a good example of a traditional IPA, but a worthwhile deviation along the general theme.

Aroma is slightly hoppy more of a malt nose with some wheat. Pour cloudy golden colored. Tastes very malty with a hoppy bite finishes smooth like a wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light yellow and slightly cloudy. good foam and leaves a nice lacing in glass. Smell friuty with a citrus aroma. Tastes very refreshing lemony, some pine notes, wheat, spicy hops. Bitter upfront and finishes smooth. Can’t wait to drink this in the summer!

Draft. Poured a hazy white yellow color with an average creamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. My expectations where not met.

This beer is a very light, hazy yellow color with a minimal white head as well as with black sediment throughout the liquid, and the aroma is very lightly hoppy. This beer is mildy bitter and mildly sweet, and the palate combines an average carbonation, thin texture, medium body, and an abrupt finish very nicely.

Pours a yellow color with a foamy white head. Notes of lemon chiffon, tennis, ball, banana, and grass. Easy thinner mouthfeel, with a lingering finish. Not Bad.

Pale whitish, almost lemonade appearance with a white head and some sediment. Smells of lemon, wheat and yeast, and chalk, like a hoppy hefeweizen. Taste is lightly sweet followed by medium bitterness. Medium to lighter body.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2013 RERATE 6.12.2013: Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with white head, settles in minutes with some stringy lacing. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, fruity, citrus, and piney. Flavor is mildly hoppy, building slightly, and fading quickly but smoothly into strong citrus tones, fruity, with a mildly ester, sweet, juicy finish. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and crisp texture. A drinkable, juicy IPA, pretty good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with two fingers of pillowy, coarse white head. Settles in minutes with lots of thin lacing. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus, and sweet. Flavor is citrus and hoppy up front, hints of pear. Relatively sweet throughout. Fades into bitter hoppy finish that lingers temporarily. Soft carbonation, medium body, and smooth texture. Very sweet and drinkable, wild a mild hop bite. A good beer. (3.3/5)
