Great fresh hop brew. Not over the top but good example of the style with the fresh aromatic quality you would expect Joe_M (24) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Solid fresh hop brew! I like the showcasing of the hops with out it being over the top. DocLock (11191) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Draft at Capone’s. Pours turbid dark straw with off-white head. Nose is fresh wet hops, pale malt, black pepper, citrus. Tastes hoppy, black peppery, with hopcitrus. mild fruit, and some finishing white peppery spice notes. Fresh and delicious. jimmie65 (330) - Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2014
On tap at the Friendly Spot.
Hazy golden pour. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, wood, and grass. Flavors follow the aroma. Despite the strong hops character, this was smooth and easy to drink. jake65 (4033) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle: Pale yellow with a light haze. Mountainous fluffy white head, thick sheets of lacing. Aromatic with pine resin and citrus. Not overly intense, but nice. Same goes with the taste. A bit more citrus fruit, softer on the pine, and caramel. Great hop flavor. A couple weeks past the ‘drink by’ date, but still a champ. Much improved over the Cascade batch.

A little past it’s date, but whatever. Pours a very hazy golden, much like a hefeweizen. A half finger of of bubbly, white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is very hoppy and bitter. A lot of resin and citrus with some sugary sweetness. A little bit of caramel malts is present. Mouth is very bitter with a slight tart note. A lot of citrus and resin. There is a sweet mixture of pineapple, grapefruit and tangerine. Although it was slightly old, it still tasted pretty good. I would like to try it fresh. 22 oz bottle from Leo’s (Woodridge, IL). Popped this after the Bears started poorly. Pours a nice golden hue, some gentle sunny glow, decent haze. Very lively carbonation in the body with decent offwhite head. A firmer film sticks around, laces ok. Golden hues with bits of gentle amber, faint orange fire. Aromas show some dankness, a touch woody and weedy, some gentle citrus and grapefruit, florals and stale hops. Some bready malt, more florals, weed and earthy dankness. Medium strength, not as fruity leaning as I’d expect, some soap and grapefruit show some life at times. Initial is lighter bodied overall, some decent floral and earthy bitterness, soap and gentle grapefruit. Some dry bread, grainy malts. Touches of melon, more grapefruit juice and rind as we start to get going, fairly dry and bitter on the palate, a touch juicy as we hit the middle, some more citrus life than the nose let on. Almost a bit warm. The backend is dry, bitter, a touch grainy. A firmer earthy hopping in the backend shows some character, with decent bitterness, soap and grapefruit. For it’s lighter body, the alcohol jab is a bit sharp. This really doesn’t need to be over 7 percent ABV. As it is, it almost detracts from the hop profile, covering it up and interfering a bit overall. Finish is dry, bitter, a bit citrusy and fruity, a bit warm. An odd one. While the hop profile starts to deliver once we get further in (though not on the nose), the beer is a bit too high in ABV and lacking on the nose to make it a real contender for me. Ok. Definitely not an intense ipa. Light light color. I get a lemony aroma and taste. Would be an awesome hot weather beer ... Very refreshing ... I like there fresh squeezed ipa better for being a little more traditional ipa like but this is a nice beer is grab next harvest season

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with white head. Aroma is mild hoppiness with sweet malt backbone. Taste is the same, mild hoppiness with just a touch of sweetness. Pretty drinkable. jefcon (1935) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Intense IPA. Draft. Hop-forward with dandelion, apricot, lemon and hay on the nose. Balanced and fresh-tasting, with a nice piney residue on the tongue.
