Notes from 2014: This puts up some stiff foam when poured in a narrow IPA glass, all the better to deliver aroma to you. Color is very pale, while many IPA have kind of an orange cast. Perhaps because there is a bit of oatmeal in the grain bill, according to Deschutes. The nose has a lot of mango, pomegranate, and some pine needles.
Malt comes in a little sticky, and the 7.4% alcohol feels more obvious because of it. And the hop aroma just fill the airspace in my mouth at the same time.
This one holds to its promise of a strong hop experience. This does not have the usual taste of fresh cut grass that some wet hops will give you. So it will stand out when you’re sampling hoppy beers around. markducommun (1210) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2016
Light pale yellow, moderate white head. Fresh hay, lightly toasted grains. Bitter, some mild sweetness. Effervescent, some mild acidity. Decent amount of carbonation. Light body. Pretty good.

Rating #1318 - 10.11.2014 On tap @revolutionyeg. Aroma is tropical punch. Lots of sweet citrus notes, tempered with a super punchy bitterness. Lovely mosaic hopped IPA. sturmthis (1149) - Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 1, 2015

Opaque amber with sticky white head. Piney and citrusy hob bite with a malty backbone. Overall really good.

12/21/14. 22oz bottle from a QC Hy Vee. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Fruity aroma, lots of orange and grapefruit, some pineapple, but not crazy strong - good but more faint than I hoped. Nice flavor, dank, fruity, like the aroma, again not as much pop as I was hoping for. Not bad. bytemesis (8960) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 5, 2015
Bottle. Pours hazy butterscotch, tons of tiny suspended particles, large white head, creamy and slow to dissipate with nice lacing. Aroma is pine, onoin, passionfruit, dank leaves. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, juicy, dank, somewhat herbal. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Nice. WABeerFiend (413) - - JAN 19, 2015

Poured from a bomber into a tulip on 10.28.14.
A: Strong hop resin, green vegetable, and orange. Spice is there also.
A: 2 finger head that is retained. See through light yellow body.
T: Hop resin, orange, spiciness, and green vegetable dominate. Candied tropical fruit is subtle.
P: Very smooth with a sticky back end. Lip smackingly chewy.
O: This was one of the best fresh hops of the season. raoul_duke (240) - - JAN 17, 2015
Aroma has some vague hop to it with a little pine and citrus. Nice fluffy head that sticks but not too foamy. Taste is good, although it could be bigger in flavor. On the third or fourth sip you realize it is JUST hop you taste. Kind of interesting... ilovedarkbeer (2748) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Pours an orange color with a white foamy head. Notes of herbs, pine forest floor, and tropical fruit. Crazy well balanced.
