Like fresh powder, it’s a seize-the-moment thing. At harvest, we rush Goschie Farms’ Cascade hops fresh from vine to kettle. Not any Cascades, mind you, but an heirloom strain, from a single field, restored from the original rhizome. Hope you’re as hopped up as we are.

Sledutah (7788) - Utah, USA - FEB 10, 2013
22oz bottle picked up at Texas Liquor in Carlsbad
Appearance: Cloudy straw yellow with a big white head and some lacing
Aroma: Coriander, berries, wheat and citrus
Taste: Floral, berries and citrus
A nice beer, refreshing flavors.

Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Appearance has a hazy golden yellow color supporting a thin head leaving spotty lace. Aroma of sweet citrus, mild hop and caramel malts. Taste again has that sweet citrus carrying a fair malt backbone that blend well with the hops. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Not an aggresive IPA, but more of a refreshing IPA.

n00bface (137) - Minneapolis, USA - JAN 16, 2013
On tap at Muddy Waters (Minneapolis, Minnesota, 7/12/12)
Aroma: Citrus, spices, and maybe some apricot.
Appearance: Amber in color with a medium white head.
Taste: Medium bitterness. Slightly sweet in the front.
Palate: Medium bodied, thin texture, and an average carbonation.

BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JAN 16, 2013
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Big hops flavors and aroma. Big big hoppy beer. A very tasty big IPA.

jake65 (3982) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Bottle: Golden color with a fluffy off-white head. Mild nose, florals and herbal. More florals, earthy, and herbal taste. Not the ripe, pungent hoppiness that I was hoping for.

DuffMan (10596) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 31, 2012
Bottle. Bright yellow-gold, with a frothy white head that retains beautifully. Pleasant citrus and light pine hop aroma. Hop flavour is bright and delicious, fresh guava and lemon peel. Underlying malts are crackery and subdued, but allow for maximum expression of the lovely hop character. Loved it!

Dixonian (1562) - Plano, Texas, USA - DEC 26, 2012
On tap. Clear golden pour, fluffy white head. Nose is herbal, citrus, and dank hops with some caramel malt. Very balanced, expecting more of a hop punch.

Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2012
This was a different kind of IPA... Lots of hops and herbs all around with very light hints of lemon. The taste was light as well, more malty than anything with some soft hop undertones. The finish was pleasant and dry however.

OmegaX (1375) - Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Not bad. Aroma was light grapefruit and herbal notes with some light marijuana like aromas. The color is disappointing - a flat, clear yellow, like an adjunct pale lager. Flavor is lightly hoppy, with light citrus and some pine. A touch of grain and malt to finish it up. Not bad but I expected a stronger hop presence in this one.

Gerbeer (3891) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 23, 2012
650 ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow/gold with medium head. Aromas of light pine and lemon. Flavors of peach, pine, citrus, and a bit of phenol. Expecting more...
