Bomber. Pours a clear, straw yellow, smallish white head, not much retention. Nose is dankness (like cat piss!), citrus, lemon zest, grass, underlying malt. Mouth is medium bodied, bitter and full of grapefruity notes, lemongrass, cereal malts, and and a overly sweet finish. Fades out with a lingering hoppy bitterness. Overall kinda boring and a bit ’lager-y’ for an ale. StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - OCT 8, 2013
650 ml bottle. Pours a translucent gold color with a medium white head that has good retention. The aroma features pink grapefruit, lemons and juicy-fruit gum. The taste, like the aroma, features fresh fruits and more of that juicy fruit gum, all set in a neutral malt base. The palate is a bit light but appropriate for the style and the carbonation is soft. Finishes long and dry with lingering bitter grapefruit. Overall: I thought that this was a really well crafted IPA, lots of good fruit flavors and not too bitter.
