COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available October until it’s gone. Like fresh powder, it’s a seize-the-moment thing. This year we’ve chased down Lemondrop hops from the Yakima Valley in Washington. At harvest, we rush the hops from the vine to our kettles to ensure we capture the purest, juiciest essence of the hop flower in every beer. Enjoy the bright, bold aroma and flavor that comes but once a year.

Draft pour at JP Burke's. Bright orange golden with white fluffy head. Lemon aroma. Taste is lemon dominate. Very sweet, maybe honey and citrus. Not bad. Flavorful

Rating #2311 - 2016.01.22 - Bottle from @craftcellarsyyc. Aroma is lemon rind, sweetgrass. Lots of sweet citrus notes, tempered with a lighter, delicate bitterness. Residual sweet notes linger.

Bottle: pours hazy, golden amber with a frothy white head, aroma is grainy, taste is hoppy with a dry finish. Not bad. Wonder if it would be better had I had it before the 1/3/16 best by date?

Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 15, 2016
Solid beer overall... Great aroma of citrus, pine and grapefruit. Taste is a bit on the bitter side but it’s expected from a fresh hop Ale... Great all around!

On draft at the Handle Bar at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Fruity aroma. Flavors of grapefruit rind and pine. Bitter finish.

AgentAle (1807) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 7, 2016
Aroma is clove, citrus and lemongrass. Taste is sweet light malts with light tart and earthiness. Honey and light caramel. The deep hop profile is complex but finiahes smoothly. Appearance is a hazy gold with a medium pearl head that retains fairly well.

Deschutes Chasing Freshies. Clean and bitter, but not as much hop flavor as other wet hop beers I’ve had recently. Perfectly fine, but not one I’ll be tracking down next year. Some grapefruit as it warms up. 6, 3, 6, 3, 12

3.5
Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, florals, lemon grass, and a hint of grass. It pours a mostly transparent golden-orange with a touch of haze. It has a three finger white head that eventually fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is a thin sheet of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus and a touch of peach. The finish has light-moderate florals, lemon peel, grapefruit, and a hint of lemon grass. It’s light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

2.7
Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Pours a golden color with a spicy nose, slightly floral aroma. Taste is mildly floral and grassy. A slight lemon flavor with a true bitter aftertaste that lingered well after the swallow.

3.6
hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2015
22oz bottle. Poured a golden color with an averaged sized head. Citrus dominates with some pine.
