A - pours opaque cola with no head. S - unfortunate band aids lead the aromas. Chocolate, and caramel malts. Some pony hops. But it's hard to get anything above the bandaids. I hope this is a bad batch. M - medium flattish body. Lingering vinyl finish. T - the bandaid is toned down in the taste but there. Molasses, chocolate, light caramel malts and bandaids all intermingle. O - good but to bandaidy. 3.3 Gerbeer (3896) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2013
650 ml bottle. Pours a dark ruby red/brown with very little head. Aromas of hay, smoke, and horses. Flavors of dark fruit, burnt sugar, and smoke. JBoan (176) - Arizona, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Pours dark brown with a little reddish tint, thin mocha head. Smells of toasted almonds, hay, smokey peat and burnt malts. Tastes of sweet smoke, peat and hay and burnt grains. Full flavor with a dry finish. GIJOE (1250) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Pours black with a reddish tint. Thin off-white head that's quickly almost gone. Aroma is dark malt and a delicate touch of smoke. Taste is nicely balanced sweet malt and pungent hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Very nice! I typically don't care much for smoked brews, but this is good!

On tap at 101 Bottles, Kent. Animal sweat aroma. Black and very lacy. Drinkable but aggressive taste, ashtray piled high.

If you like smoky Porters, this is for you. The aroma is smells strongly of smoke while the flavor is much more subtle. For an imperial it's not overly heavy or alcoholic. Try this at the Deschutes Public House next time you're in Bend.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is smoke, treacle, chocolate. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, with smoke, underlying treacle. Finishes a bit more treacle than chocolate, it’s bitter but not quite dry. Complex seems an appropriate description. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUL 30, 2013
22 oz. bottle. It pours dark brown with an off white head. The aroma is sweet apples with a mildly phenolic smoke character. Almost no chocolate or roast. The flavor is very sweet, but a simple kind of sweetness.
Apples mostly with a bit of brown sugar and a strong smokiness creeping in the finish. Not a fan of the sugary flavors in this one. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - JUL 28, 2013
