mcberko (17809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite chalky, with a bit of coffee and chocolate. Flavour brings out considerably fruitiness, a little coconut, banana, and some coffee. Quite fruity, especially with notes of banana and coconut. Tiny bit of smoke, but a lot less so than I would’ve expected. Weird notes, especially with the banana. Bizarre stuff. An unusual miss from Deschutes.
