Bottle. Pours dark orange-amber with a medium-sized head. Decent retention and lace. Fruity nose of lemons, oranges and a hint of malt. Medium bitter grapefruit, light caramel sweet flavor. Light-plus body, soft carbonation, oily texture and a long, dry, very bitter finish. Another solid effort from one of Oregon’s first and finest. djroehler (290) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Color is amber, one finger off white head. Aroma is giant grapefruit, apricot, tropical, lemon and orange. Taste is fresh lemon and grapefruit, orange peel, tropical punch. Some slight cereal malt. Delicious and easy drinking. bhensonb (15489) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight off-white head. Aromas of old cat pee! Not harsh. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is citrus/grapefruit rind, resin, tropical, detectable caramel. Mild hop burn. It is lush in the mouth. It’s extremely hoppy. Brilliant effing ale. brewskis (123) - Saint John, Indiana, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Pours a dark orange color with a hint of ruby. Has a finger length head of an off white color that dissipates fairly slowly and leaves a nice lacing. The citra hops really show through on the nose. Smells of tons of grapefruit, tangerine, papaya, mango, stone fruit. A little sweet breadiness in the background. Very juicy smell. Taste starts with dank grapefruit, mango, and other tropical fruits. Then get a nice crisp, bready sweetness from the malts that does not overpower the hop qualities at all, but complements them instead. Also get more stone fruit qualities. The finish comes more from the mosaic hops than the citra hops. Get tangerine, more grapefruit, some pine, some dank, herbal qualities as well. The sweetness from the malts stays throughout the finish and gently balances the very little bitterness imparted from the hops. Medium body with a creamy and slick mouthfeel. Pretty clean mouthfeel, which allows the juicy hops to shine. A really good ipa on the lighter side of the spectrum with two of my favorite hops. I would definitely get this again.

Bomber to a pint glass. As the other reviews say, killer aroma with a lot of tropical citrus. Fairly rich considering this is session, but does fall off the palate pretty quickly. Very solid beer. conlepa1 (72) - Chillicothe, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Great aroma. Floral, citrus, hoppy goodness. The taste, however, not what i would call balanced. Not overly bitter, but very hop flavor forward. A sourness, bitter citrus taste. Very little malt backing to bring it to closure. I keep wanting the aroma to match the taste but its not happening here. It becomes better as it warms. Recommend enjoying this one near room temperature. Very fresh hop flavor, just needed a little more junk in the trunk. Still good. Awktoberfest (404) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Wow killer great awesome aroma! Lemon citrus awesome... Tastes goes down a notch but carries some of that hop aroma with. Great easy drinking session feeling ipa...

Amber pour. Floral and citrus scent. Flavor is juicy, tropical, citrusy. Bit of an annyong malt character that fdes as you go. ACHops (1606) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 5, 2013
22 oz bottle poured into a shaker pint. Pours translucent amber with medium off white head. Aroma is slightly sweet lemony hops. Taste is lightly roasted caramel malt with big juicy citrus hops. Grapefruit, pine, lemons, and grass notes from the hops. Definitely among the most citrusy IPAs I’ve had, and not bad, but off balance. I dunno, the best IPAs seem to pick up nice citrus notes without forcing it. Still, tasty; and inexpensive... worth picking up.
