bottle. Deep golden with one finger head. Maltier base than I was expecting, but obviously the focus is the big pungent citrus hops. Well done stuff.

Had high hopes but was let down. The first sip is shockingly bitter. Not as much citrus as the name led me to believe. ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 13, 2015
Aroma: Fairly significant tangerine, grapefruit and mango hops with a healthy dose of sweet cereal. Appearance: Rich copper color with a fat bone colored head that fades into a sticky skin. Flavor: Definitely lots of grapefruit and mango up front, but sweet cereals can’t help themselves; the sweetness settles down a bit towards the finish, which is fruity and slightly bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, bittersweet finish. Overall: A little torn, really; crisp but pleasant hop expression, but also a little too much malt for 2015. This isn’t far from being a really good beer. shigadeyo (3759) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 11, 2015
Aroma of over-ripe citrus (tangerine, mandarin orange), mellon. Polished copper color with a reddish hue and creamy off white crown. Lots of juicy and ripe citrus in the flavor, balancing maltiness, but it doesn’t overshadow the hops, moderate bitterness overall, tangy persimmon in the finish. Medium body, very smooth and slightly creamy texture. Very good, although there is more Citra in the hop profile and flavor than Mosiac, unfortunately. I still like it. Big tropical fruit and pine aroma, pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. This is not a subtle beer, the first notes are pine and citrus, with a touch of caramel. These fade out into a long lingering bitter finish. There’s a slightly slick mouthfeel, with a lower carbonation level. A very nice IIPA.

12 ounce bottle, label says best before 07/10/15. One of my friends gave me a bottle of this since I haven’t tried it before. Served in a DFH IPA glass, the beer pours a mostly clear copper color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like citrusy (tropical fruit, tangerine, grapefruit, oranges) hops, along with a bit of bready malt. I think the taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there’s also some mango and piney hops noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. It’s also smooth and pretty easy to drink. I thought this was a pretty good IPA, I might have to buy a fresher batch of this! emusche (209) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 9, 2015
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2016 Beautiful golden color pours to delightfully light, crisp head. Aroma is sweet with heavy influences of citrus and tropical fruits, with some pine notes buried really deep in there. Taste is sweet at first, then quickly transitioning to bitter while retaining that fresh, crisp "crunch" of flavor. A very good IPA. If I can’t locate Zombie Dust or PseudoSue, I’ll be going with this. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 5, 2015
