COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of the most asked questions at the festival is "are there any gluten-free beers available?" - Yes! This hop-forward Northwest pale ale is made of 100% gluten free ingredients: brown rice, sorghum and dark candy sugar. It’s hopped with Nugget, Centennial, Cascade and Citra hops for a Northwest gluten-free experience.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and wet dog. Medium body, light citrus, some off flavors, not much going on with this one.

BuckeyeBoy (8281) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 4, 2016
On tap at Deschutes Portland pub. Pours out a copper color topped with a small head. Nose is grain and a light grassy hop. Taste is more of the grain notes some light grassy hops.

@ Deschutes 16-3-10: Tydlig blommig doft och smak med lite tvål och en halvbra eftersmak.

gyllenbock (9711) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 11, 2016
On tap at the Brewpub in Portland. Dark golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of grain, apples and some soap. Drinkable but a bit boring.

mcberko (18572) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 23, 2015
On tap at Deschutes, pours a clear golden copper with a tiny white head. Aroma is very grainy, with toasted malt. Flavour is pretty bad, with toasted grains, scorched hops and a metallic note. This is really bad.

Ferris (16274) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 20, 2015
Draft - Sweet, apple like notes. Clear gold with no head. Apple no light herbal perfumy notes. Not very good.

Tap at Deschutes in Portland. Clear orange pour. Not bad for a gluten free beer - some citrus hop elements. But still, tough style to make something good.

This was a draft pour at the Portland. OR brewpub during the RBSG 2015. Poured a muddy yellow with a white head. Nose is odd...sorghum I suppose and there is a stale wet paper aroma. Light in body. Flavor is simply strange and there is citrus in the finish. There are most certainly much better gluten free APAs out there. I did not like this one very much.

On tap @ Deschutes. Rather turbid orange pour with a white head. Fake lemon and green apple on the nose. Slight cardboard and syrup... kind of rough. The flavor has a harsh apple peel and menthol character to it. Ooof. Lemon rind and pith, somewhat sour, and very cardboardy. Nope.
