COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Part of the Bond Street Series. This Fresh Hop Pale Ale is all about celebrating the hop harvest in the fall. Fresh picked hops have to be added to the brew immediately and in abundance. Roughly 270 pounds of Crystal hops from Doug Weathers’ farm outside Salem, Oregon will be added to the 50 barrel batch in addition to some dry kilned whole flower hops. That adds up to approximately 5.5 pounds of hops per barrel brewed.

Had it on tap. Pours a deep copper clear hue with a thick white head (reminds me of Nipsy Russell). Light aroma with hints of citrus and it has a taste to match the smells, smooth, light , and not to bitter.

Been drinking this a few years, as it comes around, but neverr reviewed. New label & colors don’t quite work for me. Swampy smell, but not offensively so, green, caramel, a perkiness. In flavor, there’s a bitter shimmer around the edge and within the malt & green-ness hang there, mildly vegetative.

Pours a caramel brown color with a white head. Pine, citrus, biscuit, caramel, toffee and floral aroma. Pine, caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, floral, herbal, light citrus, wood and resin flavors. Medium body and carbonation with a resin, caramel and toast finish.

A little lacking. Very mild hop aroma. Decent color and weight. Hop flavors were there and lingered toward the citrus side but a little harsh and unbalanced. There are better fresh pale ales out there.

This is a brew I could love all day n night. Super citrus pine aroma. Medium bitterness but oh so quaffable. Muffin like malts and very light toffee. Hop bitterness and finish make this beer fantastic.

Pours a hazy copper with a large frothy white head. Hoppy aroma of fruity, floral and grassy with caramel malt and some bread and toffee notes. Taste is similar. Medium body.

From a bottle, this stuff has a volatile metallic aroma. Cloudy lighter iced tea look about it. Surprisingly has pretty good co2, got to hand it to ya. First taste tho is that big large kick in the palate. Bitter waxy mouth coating resin fer sure. Good example of a DIPA. Wrenchingly on style, wew. YIP YIP. Reverse numbers if you like this style.

A winner for me. Full of hops just the way I like it. Great aroma. Full body but not too heavy. A good session beer.
