COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPA’s intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

Very pleasant aroma for this beer. It is darker in color but has a smooth taste and slightly bitter finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark brown color, sweet malty aroma, malts seem to overpower the hops, not my favorite but not bad

Bottle. Tastes sour. Too thick. Too malty. No bitterness. A waste of my time from some rubes in oregon.

Mountain Brewers Beer Fest 2006. Lack of appearance judging reflects opaque plastic sampling cup. Noticably grainy and nutty. light hopping: flowers/grassy. acidic, noticed a mild vinegar flavor. Too malty and not hoppy enough for an IPA

Standard. Clean, crisp, nothing special. Can be cheap though - which does have virtues.

Pours a dark amber with a thick head. Aroma is citrus, caramel, faint earth. Taste is malty caramel with good hop balance. Kind of malty for an IPA which I wouldn’t normally care for but it works here.

12 oz bottle poured at home. Aroma is great -- strong, pungent pine and resin hops, some citrus zest notes, and a hint of sweetness. Definitely one of the more aromatic IPA’s I’ve had lately. It’s a good looking brew; hazy and translucent, deep amber in color. Great hop flavors -- especially the resin hops -- and sweetbread malts keep this beer lightly weighted and well balanced. There’s something about the palate that quarrels with me . . . the carbonation’s effervescence builds steadily, which I liked . . . but there’s something slightly metallic about the mouthfeel which detracts from the experience. Overall a good summer night beer with great potential, just needs some tweaks.

Poured from Bottle into Pint glass. Pours a clear copper color with a finger of creamy off-white head that eventually develops into a nice layer atop the glass. The nose is filled with mostly citrus and piney hops with some sweet malt aromas. The flavor is bitter hops upfront with some malt and finishes sweet and strongly bitter with a slightly dry finish. The body is medium with a nice amount of carbonation. This is a good beer although it does come across a little hot.

Beer pours copper with a slight white head and slight haze. Beer has a citrusy grapefruit hop aroma. Beer flavor has an excellent hop flavor that hangs on the palate throughout the swallow. There is a slight indication of malt presence, but very minor. Palate is very nice without having too much stickyness or dryness. Overall beer is a nice IPA and I would definatley have this again.
