Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPA’s intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

I have to disagree with those who would rate this beer below a 4.00 overall: this is one of the best IPAs I've ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed amber orange with a medium sized white head. Earthy pine and a bit of citrus on the nose, a bit of fruit. Medium bodied, soft yeast tones with a hint of banana. Thicker and maltier than expected from the nose, a bit of pungent earthy hops. Long toast and a bit of fruit into the finish. A touch flabby, long earth and pine.

(Deschutes Inversion IPA) Bottle 335ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6.8% Amber coloured body, clear, with a small and thin white head on top. Aroma of caramel malts, biscuit. Taste of caramel malts too, sone toffee, biscuit, hops, nicely bitter finish. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice.

Clear copper colour. Aroma and flavour have some sweet malts and ripe fruits. Perhaps some honey dew melon. Smooth and well rounded.

swesson (453) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - MAR 28, 2017
From a bottle. Pours an amber orange and makes a thin white head. Aroma of hops and malted barley. Tastes more like a hoppy malt amber than an IPA, but I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rex_Remes (212) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - MAR 26, 2017
Red Amber color, ok white head, a bit oily residue. Nose is more tobacco and toast hops, less of the over the top, grapefruit. Taste burnt malt, metallic and crisp, some herbal and vegetative notes, significant hops. Palate: sparkly front, medium body, dry finish, good hoppiness. Overall: good beer, balance is a bit towards hops, could, see this as being an acceptable craft ipa for most people.

Pours a dark bronze-orange with tan head. A string malt forward aroma of caramel and light tropical fruit. A tropical fruit, caramel malt, and some hops. A caramel malt and light tropical fruit and hop aftertaste.

john44 (3101) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2017
Bottle. Deep Amber in colour. Mega-Hoppy; lots of resinous piney hops. Fruity; strong grapefruit and lemon citrus, rind. Malty; caramel and toffee. Seriously bitter citrus hoppy bite over a nice caramel malty base. Long dry very bitter finish. (2009-01)

SinH4 (4759) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2017
Bottle. Amber-copper color with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, toffee, earthy, piney and floral hops. Taste is toffee, grapefruit, again some earthy hops. Silky mouthfeel. Classic, more English-style IPA.

StevieT (2011) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 27, 2016
On tap at Deschutes Brewing Public House. Citrus rind bitterness dominated the flavour of this.
