Love this ipa. Bitter but not harsh, everytime i drink it i think of orange peel french toast for some reason, which is not something you would normally associate with an ipa. Definately on the sweet side, but its a complex sweetness. If you like malty sweet ipas its worth seeking out, if you dont you should try it anyway, you might be surprised.
12 ounce bottle. A good overall IPA. No complaints, but was expecting a bit more "punch" bordering on an Imperial IPA let’s say. That said, I doubt many drinkers, in the know, will complain about this beer! hauxe (777) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2017
Pours amber from the bottle with a creamy head. The tropical notes are less overt than standard for the style. Instead, a blend of caramel and resin accompanied by light citrus & apple notes greets the nose. The hops makes itself felt in the taste, which is bitter with grapefruit and apple notes. Acridity in the finish. Body is medium, with moderate carbonation. Not bad. j12601 (12001) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed amber orange with a medium sized white head. Earthy pine and a bit of citrus on the nose, a bit of fruit. Medium bodied, soft yeast tones with a hint of banana. Thicker and maltier than expected from the nose, a bit of pungent earthy hops. Long toast and a bit of fruit into the finish. A touch flabby, long earth and pine.

Clear copper colour. Aroma and flavour have some sweet malts and ripe fruits. Perhaps some honey dew melon. Smooth and well rounded.

From a bottle. Pours an amber orange and makes a thin white head. Aroma of hops and malted barley. Tastes more like a hoppy malt amber than an IPA, but I like it.

Red Amber color, ok white head, a bit oily residue. Nose is more tobacco and toast hops, less of the over the top, grapefruit. Taste burnt malt, metallic and crisp, some herbal and vegetative notes, significant hops. Palate: sparkly front, medium body, dry finish, good hoppiness. Overall: good beer, balance is a bit towards hops, could, see this as being an acceptable craft ipa for most people. jw0406 (1276) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - FEB 18, 2017

Pours a dark bronze-orange with tan head. A string malt forward aroma of caramel and light tropical fruit. A tropical fruit, caramel malt, and some hops. A caramel malt and light tropical fruit and hop aftertaste. john44 (3101) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2017
Bottle. Deep Amber in colour. Mega-Hoppy; lots of resinous piney hops. Fruity; strong grapefruit and lemon citrus, rind. Malty; caramel and toffee. Seriously bitter citrus hoppy bite over a nice caramel malty base. Long dry very bitter finish. (2009-01)
