COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPAs intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

This is one IPA thats not ashamed of being big and aggressive and I like it. Its a gorgeous red color w/ a long lasting head. Its nose is vaguely fruity and hoppy, good but not inspiring. When you taste it though, this sucker is huge. Theres just loads of hop bitterness and while there is a touch of malty sweetness it doesnt come close to any sort of balance--and thats a good thing! The bitterness clings to your tongue and begs you to take another sip. This is a dangerous one that youll want to suck down in volume in the hot summer son but will undoubtedly leave you w/ a headache after a couple hours sipping this and baking in the heat. Such is the life of a true beer geek. The ones of us who truly believe are willing to suffer for our love.

Bottle. Deep Amber in colour. Mega-Hoppy; lots of resinous piney hops. Fruity; strong grapefruit and lemon citrus, rind. Malty; caramel and toffee. Seriously bitter citrus hoppy bite over a nice caramel malty base. Long dry very bitter finish. (2009-01)

Deep red copper with malted milkshake head. Some pine, crystal malts, and raw chicken on aroma. Yummy light caramel malt profile with pine, hints of citrus, and some pepper notes from malt. If this was a rye-pa it might be one of my favorites. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation, lightly slick in mouth followed by gentle bitterness.

Pretty tasty IPA. A bit harsh to bite but I like my bites harsh. I was hesitant to buy this beer based on the artwork but glad I bought it.
