A dark, malty celebration ale with layered flavors and beautifully balanced hopping. Jubelale pours deep garnet in color, medium bodied, with notes of chicory, earth, spice and fruit. To beer lovers, it’s like Yule fire and family.

I’m not a big English ale fan, but I’m expanding my horizons. Very malty on the aroma and taste with English hops by very obvious. Very earthy and warming. If you’re a fan of the style, I’m pretty sure you’ll really enjoy this one.

Dark garnet color with a healthy sized head of creamy khaki colored foam. Aromas and flavors of winter spices with dark fruit like figs and dates. Has a solid caramel malt base with some earthy hops included. Very good brew to slide into the holiday season with.

12floz bottle, BBD: 05.04.2018, $1..75 unit cost, mug glass. A dark amber ale with moderate head formation, and an aroma of wild red berries and pine needle. NOt very strong English ale at all, but that's okay. It's a decent hoppy (and fairly malty) dark red ale that has flavors as described. Very much what I'd consider an evergreen beer to be, pine and dirt wrapped in a medium-full body. Not a session beer, but a pretty good stand alone (or intermixed in a session) beer.

Seems to be a well thought of beer. I did not care for it. Can't exactly say why. It was a bit better than I normally like they also had an odd taste, Chichory perhaps ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nitro. Brown color with tan head. Aroma is malty, toffee, caramel and fudge, some figs and raisins as well. Taste is toffee, raisins and figs, earthy, quite bitter finish. Super-silky mouthfeel. Very nice English Strong Ale!

Roughly two-month-old bottle. Aromas of dark fruits and toffee. Arrives on the tongue with sweet dark fruits and toffee and finishes with a subtle spice. Bottle suggests a cocoa note, but I’m guessing it faded within two months. Finishes with an unpleasant astringent note. It’s been four years since the last time I had this, and now I remember why it’s not a winter seasonal worth seeking out.
