Bomber, 2014 vintage. Sweet caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, pine resiny hops, oak, wine and some vanilla pours dark cloudy caramel colored with a thin tan head that has little retention or lacing. Starts with sweet caramel and toffee malt flavors with a bit of oak and wine. Finishes very smooth and a bit dry with some pine resiny hops and a bit of vanilla to go with a bit of dry red wine finish. Excellent!

Bottle. It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of caramel, toffee malts, candy and a touch of bitterness. The taste was similar to the aroma with more caramel, malts, candy, dough and wood. Good stuff.

Bottle sample at SBWF. Pours brown with white head. Aroma is sweet but taste is too alcoholic for my taste.

Reddish/brown with a small head. Aroma of malt, toffee, some bourbon and dried fruit. Similar taste. On the sweet side with an almost full body. Some warming alcohol in the finish. A beer to sip.

Sammy (12844) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 4, 2016
2010 edition. Ageing, despite promises by the brewer, is pot luck. There is the remnant of an interesting beer here, but some skunking in the taste and smell, despite my best efforts.

3.7
finol (3504) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle sample at SBWF.
Pours red brown, heavy looking.
A UK style BW with a taste of raisins and alcohol, vinous.
