This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

Pours a cloudy pale amber with a decent head that dissipates to film. Aroma is my favorite aspect of this beer: caramel, hay, cereal, spruce, and dough. Flavor is nice but WAY off balance, sour overpowers. Palate is interesting: medium body with a lingering bitter finish. Good beer, will drink again.

Draught at The Brewdog Bar, Edinburgh. Gold to amber with white head. This is a hopped beer on quite a light background, berries, strawberry notes, someredcurrant hints along with a citrus note. Very pleasant.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2017 The balance between malt and Hops is pleasant in this beer. It’s more malted than hoppy, which lends for an easy drinking, but flavorful beer. All in all, it’s a good Pale Ale that I would be happy to come back to.

Tap @ Doghouse. Orange brown, reasonable head. Grain malt aroma. Boiled sweet hop flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Fairly decent pale ale.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed orange amber with a thin white head. Soft toast and a slight bit of citrus on the nose. Soft citrus, musk, a bit of fruit. Medium bodied, crisp grain and a bit of sweet malt, a touch of crackers, earthy bitterness. Slow citrus and pithy grapefruit, a bit of pine on the finish. Fairly easy.

En fin smag af frugtagtig sødme, og en mild humle. Let at drikke..............

bottle. Poured clear medium amber with a rocky off-white head. Herbal hop aroma. Light-medium body, creamy carbonation, crisp tart mouthfeel. Light pale malt base, grainy with piney hops, peppery with a resiny finish.

colui72 (1053) - HONG KONG - JUL 1, 2017
Pours clear amber, bright, with a finger of a off-white head and nice sticky lacing. Aroma of ale malts, floral and citrus hops, quite delicate. Good balanced, ale malts are there, the hops don’t cover them but they aren’t enough, IMO. Some citrus notes, lemon zest and grass. Too pale lager-ish. Light and crisp body, easy drinking, average carbonation, bitter finish. Not memorable, but a fair summer drink.

This is just ok . Not bad not great. Something is missing . Had it in a bottle, maybe it is better from the keg ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
