COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

And excellent light ipa. One is greeted by the scent of hops in the nose. Upon tasting the beer has a dry malt, with a light bit of citrus hops in it. The beer is great, as long as one doesn’t drink an IPA before comsumption.

Mild pale ale, not as harsh as many of them around here. Makes it easier drinking. But could use more cara malts. Deschutes portland ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours up a clear orange color, with a short lasting white head. Aroma is caramel a hint of citrus and mild hops. Taste is similar with Caramel, some citrus and grassy hops, light leaves, nice malty touch to balance. Some light toast and biscuits in there too. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Good stuff.

Great Pale Ale. Smells hoppy without tasting too bitter. Unmistakably right

12 oz bottle- A great pale ale. Little bit of sweet mixed with the perfect touch of bitterness. Pours with a nice creamy head. One of my favorites right now.

Mirror Pond is the go to Pale Ale. Love to drink this while out trout fishing or even playing a friendly round of golf. Aroma is nice and hoppy and beer finishes clean and crisp. Hats off to Dechutes for producing this classic Pale Ale

Pours out a deep amber color, little tan head that remains through the whole drink. Aroma is nice and doughy biscuits with a clean pine and citrus aroma. Medium carbonation. Taste is caramel forward with a touch of chewing tobacco. Then snappy pine resin, pitch, and orange zest. This is a great example of a pale ale. I put this up there with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but it has less prestige. Great beer, buy it during the fall, can't go wrong.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 355ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma: malt, fruity, caramel/toffee, some citrus hop notes. Taste: sweet caramel/toffee, citrus/fruity hops, biscuity malt, moderate bitterness, slight aniseed aftertaste. Medium body, slick mouthfeel. Not bad but unimpressive, and I don't agree with it being hop-forward.

Bottle - Sweet with a caramel taste to it. Pretty clean on the palate. The malt lingers for a bit but that’s about it.
