mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 4, 2017
On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a clear copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out dank, herbal hops, and biscuity malt in the back - no notice of passionfruit. Flavour is fruitier, with a decent mix of stone fruit juiciness, dank hops, light pot-like character and biscuity malt. Fairly dry, yet juicy. Decent.

Hazy dull tan. Medium head. Has a nose that's a bit fruity, bubblegummy. There's some passionfruit but it's fighting yeast, malt and alcohol for attention...and none of those are contributing anything all that special.

bhensonb (15621) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 26, 2017
Tap at the Portland brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Passion fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is the fruit and it’s towards dry and nicely bitter. Fruit is firm. Excellent.

crossovert (13744) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 30, 2017
Draft. Amber/gold pour. It doesn’t have much passion fruit. It is dry and bitter, really bitter, hint of rubbery smoke. A decent west coast ipa but not sour or passionfruity.

j12601 (13035) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange amber with a medium sized white head. Soft caramel, a touch of sweetness on the nose, not much passionfruit though. Medium bodied, soft and malty, a bit of orange and pine. Medium bodied, soft fruit, a touch of bitterness. Gentle, easy. Fruity, but not specifically passionfruit. More of a yeast based fruit note.

Clear orange. Passionfruit is up front on the nosem yet still fairly subtle...well balanced. Drinks more like a pale ale than an ipa, but that works well as there doesn’t have to be a ton of fruit for it to come through. I found myself thinking Deschutes brewers brew with a deft hand while drinking this.

blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 7, 2017
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Fruity hops, mild-moderate bitterness, some generic tropical fruity sweetness, and a quick fruity hoppy finish. Pretty good.

Draught at Blue Stallion. Bright orange in color with some initial passionfruit in taste, but a lot of bitterness throughout.

200517. Tatser at GABS in Melbourne. A good way to make an IPA even better is to add passionfruit to it and with this beer it works a treat. Full on passionfruit aroma and a light amber colour. Passionfruit seems to be one fruit that when addd to beer it really is noticeable unlike some other fruits.

jbruner (5124) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 2, 2017
Pours a clear golden orange on tap with bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of tropical and citrus hop notes, but I don’t think I’d place it as passion fruit, with bready malt behind. Taste follows, a nice new school IPA that you would call tropical, but hard to place. Decent.
