COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The citrus punch of a big IPA, minus the one-dimensional hop sledgehammer. Seven select European and domestic malts round out the edges for a complex, copper-colored brew. Like its namesake ski lift, its an insiders ride to fresh thrills.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper color. Aroma of floral, citrus, caramel, grass. Flavor is citrus, caramel, pine, hay. Being a hop-forward beer, there is a nice amount of sweetness. Quite an enjoyable American Pale Ale.

Pours copper with a large, fluffy off-white head. Smells of caramel and hints of citrus. Taste is sweet, caramel, creamy, with some touch of citrus. Full-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Deschutes Red Chair Northwest Pale Ale finishes with a smooth sweetness.

Pours a nice copper color with a small off-white head and some lacing. It has a light citrus aroma. The flavor is very interesting, with alternating hops and malty sweetness, a lingering malt aftertaste, and a smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not the in your face pale ale you'd expect from the northwest. A: Moderate hop with a caramel malt backbone C: Copper with some haze and a nice head. T: Moderate hop bitterness with caramel malt sweetness O: Not an overpowering hop bomb. A little sweet on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
