on Tap- Pour is copper, with medium white head..Nose is Hops and malts..Taste is different, The variety of malts is throwing me off a bit but im getting light malts and hops with a earthy and light citrus taste, The whole flavor is light with not much going on for me..Palate is light hops and earth..A decent beer from one of my favorite brewerys JK (6162) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JAN 31, 2012
A solid pale ale. Aroma has a decent amount of hops for the style. Some citrus. Flavor has dry grain, with an herbal hop quality. Lightly bitter, and a medium sweet malt finish. It is very drinkable. Light gold color, and more about the hops than the malt which is fine for apa. DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Pours a clear red with thin white head. Aroma and flavor are both quite hoppy although well balanced. Tabednar (139) - - JAN 28, 2012

Very good IPA indeed. Well-balanced with a crisp, long finish. gmikszta (4) - Arizona, USA - JAN 27, 2012 does not count
Wow, absolutely perfect. Aroma is pine trees and forest. Appearance is nice copper color. Taste is perfectly balanced with malt and jsut enough hops to approach an IPA. Palate is medium and ends hoppy. Overall a pure delight!

I’ll take an APA over an IPA every time. This brew from Deschutes is a perfect example of why. prescora (2) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2012 does not count
A solid, solid Pale Ale. Has some nice floral slightly sweet notes, finishing with a nice amount of hops, and ends rather cleanly. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Poured a deep amber with an eggshell white head. Definitely pulled back on the hops and more defined malt. Aml42000 (622) - Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Dark copper. Thin, almost non-existent head. Mild lacing. The aromatics are my favorite part of this. Fresh, hoppy, citrusy. Heavy on the carbonation, there is almost a delay before the clean citrus flavors wash over the palate. Once they do, absolutely delicious. I like this considerably more than Mirror Pond. taphandle (1135) - Texas, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Dark amber, good head. Toasty malt and a surprising amount of hops bitterness. There’s a slight hit of dark candy going on with a dry and slightly bitter finish. An easy drinking beer.
