American PA with rye. 60 IBU’s. On tap at PDX pub.
Nice fall leaf orange with thick rim of light tannish yellow foam and some lace. Smells of grapefruit and a bit of diacetyl (which seems to really be nice here), oddly. Flavor is bitter with a bit of B.O. flavor and a nice firm Pale malt structure. Slightly dry with medium body and low carb. I liked this one more than the description would lead on. It was refreshingly masculine.

Portland, Or - on tap at the Deschutes Portland Public House. Dark copper pour, khaki colored head, nice lace. Spearmint and rye aroma, very fresh. Flavor has some nice nutty undertones, some citrus notes, very earthy. Tangy mouthfeel. Another solid entrant from Deschutes.
