2010-06-27. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. Odd flavour with a weird herbal/floral character, floral hops, moderate bitterness. Touch of feet/cheese in the aroma with floral hints of grass. Average palate. Huh, something odd going on here. Not for me. [2994-20100627] Tap. Sourdough bread aroma with a funky leaf and hint of vomit aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Subtle sourdough infused yeast flavour with extra notes like sage or an odd wood. Light body. Odd.

5 ounce sample on tap at the Pub in Portland, OR. Aroma has some spicy hoppiness with a great deal of biscuity malt aromas, too. Light metallic undertones are also there. Transparent golden body with a scant white head. Starts with a nice spicy, grassy Noble hop goodness. Has a mild astringency in the middle. Finishes with some biscuit and light metallic hop notes. Not bad at all. Wish they bottled/canned this! PilsnerPeter (3045) - Flushing, New York, USA - OCT 13, 2008
G.A.B.F. 2008: Pale golden with great clarity and a dense white head. The aroma is solid Pilsner malt/biscuity and crackery with mild zesty lemon. Crisp and light body. The flavor has a great balance of crackery malts, bread crust and hints of soft lemon peel. The finish is grassy and mildly bitter. Nice and dry, very drinkable. A solid session Pilsner.

On tap at the Portland Deschutes pub. Pours gold, very clear, with a small fizzy white head. Grassy hops in the nose, with a nice spiciness to them, bready body, very clean and crisp pils. Maybe not as floral as some of the really nice ones, but an easy drinking and well balanced pils. gregwilsonstl (2498) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 29, 2012

Saaz hop aroma, yellow, somewhat pale. Crisp, sharp, snappy hop finish. Clean with a bold rounded pale malt flavor, no off character barges in. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 3, 2008
On tap at Deschute in Portland, OR--Poured a pale golden straw body with a small white head. Sparkling spicy nutty creamy nose with a greatly balanced piquant mouthfeel. Great balance in malts and hops and carbonation levels. Yum!
