Tasted from a fancy brown glass 2L growler into a schooner glass. Thanks jcw0220! It poured a cloudy copper color with cream, long-lasting off-white foam and lace. Very strong earthy, spicy, grassy aroma, flowery and resiny hops, cool use of sage. Flavor was a deliciously dirty, bready, crusty, marshmallowy pils malt sweetness balanced by tangy hops and earthy sage again. Light-medium body, tart and refreshing. Unusual but well-balanced. A great beer.

On tap at Deschutes pub in Portland. Nicely balanced with a kick of hops that an IPA lover would welcome in a Pils. Refreshing and great for a variety of drinkers.

Lightly toasted pilsener malt body. Dry and biscuity with a light pear note. Some grassy character. Crisp and very refreshing.

A solid little whaeaty pilsner. The appearance is as beerish as you can get, golden in color, fizzy bubbles bubbling to a white fizzy head. The aroma wasn’t a lot to talk about, but I’d say it’s a little grassy/wheat-y which is what I’d say for the flavor as well.
