Bottle. Sage aroma with notes of juniper berries and some citrus hops. Pours amber colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with citrus hop flavors with light sage notes. Finishes dry with strong juniper berry flavor that lingers on the palate after each sip. Decent, but the juniper is a little off putting for my tastes. flatmatt (1587) - Northville, Michigan, USA - JUN 19, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a yellowy off-white head. Sage aroma, pine hoppiness, tea, and a touch of toasted malt. Flavor leads with sage, juniper, pine flavors, some tea, and a bit of sweet maltiness. Not usually the flavors I go for, but it’s quite good. Well made. Good. onceblind (9887) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 22, 2017
Hazy dark golden/copper under a foamy ivory head. Brisk herbal bitter hops on the nose with a bright kiss of juniper and biscuity malt base. Smooth flavor that’s balanced between herbal hoppy bitterness and a nice biscuity base. Just a hint of bready sweetness offsets the juniper and herbal tones very nicely. olio (10374) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 14, 2017

Pours clear copper color with a small head. Aroma is floral hoppy, caramel, malty, strong herbal, some resin. Flavor is malty with caramel notes, some berries too, resin. Not a typical DIPA, probably partly because it’s old, too herbal, not my cup of beer. A bit unpleasant.

Aroma has strong floral tones and herbs. Flavour has herbs, berries, floral tones and mild caramel. Bitter in a harsh way, not good.
Bottle. Pours a dark copper orange with a thick finger of creamy beige head. Lots of thick lacing. At first “glance,” the aroma of a huge IPA permeates with a light sage note with some juniper. With further sniffing the sage grows stronger, but not overwhelming. However, when it comes to taste, the sage evident, but the juniper is pretty potent. Think gin with an IPA chaser and this is pretty much it. Glad to have the smaller format on this... more than 12oz at a time would be a chore. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - APR 21, 2017
21 apr 2017, bottle. Orange, faintly hazy. Nose is definitely sage. Sweet, floral. Nice. Med body and mildly fizzy. Sweet, basil, mild alcohol, sweet malt. Very nice. scarletfire65 (1472) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 9, 2017
Bottle at home, all alone. The aroma is dank citrus, sage, sweet pastry dough. Full bodied with flavors of cooked vegetables, sage, gin, citrus. Complex, boozy for 8% ABV. Really interesting. dfearnley (2218) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 7, 2017
The thing about sagefight is that the bilious malthusians do not want you to enjoy it. They had cleared the shelves of the stuff and I went to store after store trying to find one, but I was unsuccessful. I found one hidden behind some chainbreaker and jumped for joy, until I tasted it...WTF. This has sage in it. Who puts sage in a beer and how I was I supposed to know that there was sage in here? The aroma smells like an awesome NWNA forest in spring after a rainstorm. The hops are bountiful and aromatic and tasty. It’s sticky and oily and heavy on alcohol, both in taste and feeling. My heart beats for you sagefight.
