Aroma – Strong Belgian yeast and barrel aroma, with some fruity essence.
Appearance – Dark Amber in color, little to no head and clear.
Flavor – The flavor was strong with a good amount of hops. Liked the subtle wood characters in this beer.
Palate – Great Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A woody Belgian beer this beer had some good hops and the aging has mellowed this beer to a fine sipping brew.

On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Pours mohogany with a soft off-white head. Slightly boozy in the nose, caramel malts, dry with an estery finish. Flavor had a distinct hop flavor in the finish that i’ve picked up in a few beers in the past that I can never quite pin-point, sort of a vegi hop note. The esters kinda remind me of the La Chouffe yeast, but more a bit more dry and bright quality.
