On tap at the Brew Pub. Beautiful dark amber with a small tan head. The head diminishes to splotchy lacing pretty quickly. Lots of sweetness in the aroma, dark sugar and candied raisins. Taste is sweet and strong, not really able to pick much out except sugar and rich malt. Texture is almost syrupy, it could use a bit more carbonation. Pretty enjoyable but could use some work in my opinion. Interesting none the less. IndianaRed (5035) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 15, 2007

Slightly hazy deep redish brown with a small light tan head. Big spicy aroma. Mediciney. Like Hall’s mentholyptus drop. Flavor had some of that same element but other notes come through to make it s bit more of a medley. Some brown sugar and the Coriander are more apparent. A somewhat busy flavor profile but it works. You can feel the ABV after burn a bit but with the sweet malts preceeding it, it seems like a nice transgression.
