Tap at red cow st paul with commonmac and highendtully. Cola brown with medium full off white head. Raisin dark fruit nose. Sweet, dark fruit, medium body. Very rich. Boozy as it warms. Excellent. Better than the regular jubelale. mcberko (20253) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2018
On tap at Apex, pours a filthy opaque dark reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma reveals loads of red wine barrels, with dark fruits, and caramel malt. Flavour is even more vinous, with lots of woody red wine barrels, dark dried fruits, and caramel malts. Very vinous, tannic and moderately sweet. Looks terrible, tastes great. Very nice. b3shine (9331) - Indiana, USA - APR 14, 2017
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a slightly hazy dark caramelish orange with off-white lacing. Smells malty with notes of plum, raisin, toffee, and oak. Tastes like it smells with a mildly tart and somewhat boozy full-bodied mouthfeel. Some hops on the tongue as well. Solid. IndianaRed (5192) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 31, 2017
On Tap Murky medium brown. Caramel malty aromas. Toasted malt flavors, with lots of barley wine maltiness and pitted fruit flavors. Smooth slick body. A little woody tanin character and a late slow ABV burn. Smooth and strong. Mellow. Tasty. kaser (6464) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 16, 2017
Brownish with white head. Boozy brown sugar aroma. Sweet tangy earthy and spicy. Had this poured from draft 10oz, at JP Burke's Tap Takeover.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., dispensed to a snifter displaying an amber highlighted, darkest brown hue, with a presentable layer of off white froth, and doily-like lacing. The nose was malty, light cocoa & spice, sweetness, caramel & toffee, with an inkling of alcohol. Medium+ bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste was somewhat similar notes, including a steady, earthy & lightly tannic astringency, lingering, bourbony booze, added brown sugar nature to the sweetness, syrupy & sticky mouthfeel, and texture that started to thin just a bit. Nice, warming sipper. CamMoore (55) - Hawaii, USA - NOV 24, 2015
On tap @ Murphy's.
Big malty aroma. Dark tan head with small bubbles. Very dark brown cloudy color. Very big beer. Good balance of malt, hops and alcohol. This beer can knock you down.

On tap at Map Room. Pours Medium brown with a thick creamy beige head and a spicy oak aroma. There is a hearty smoked malt and molasses flavor that starts sweet then becomes more bitter and oaky. Nice warm bourbon trail. slowrunner77 (13368) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014
At least as awesome as Jubel 2010, the red wine version of this that got bottled. The Super J I had was not just bourbon but a blend of that, oaked, and the pinot, and it was faaantastic! wonderfully sweet yet balanced. Great body. boozedude (2229) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - FEB 10, 2014
bottle into glas, dark pour with off white head, taste is a weird funk, just akward , not a big fan, but don’t hate it..
