Bottle. Aromas of chocolate =, huge dark fruit, vanilla, barrel, and alcohol fumes. Wow! Pitch black, with a dark creamy head. Flavors of chocolate, bourbon (fairly mild), more chocolate, and some licorice. Smooth, medium- heavy body, and feels rich on the tongue. Great stuff. It is a bit thinner than the othe barrelled versions of Abysss, but so smooth and full flavored. 650ml bottle @ Alex's. Pours an opaque dark brown with a thin brown head. Nose is light whiskey barrels and a hint of molasses. Flavour is very light scotch, lots of dark malts, some molasses, licorice, hint of soy sauce.

Black color. Aroma of dark malts, molasses, whiskey. Good body strength, dark malt flavor, dark chocolate, hint of liquorice, hint of booze, a bit salty.
650ml bottle from Elizabeth Station shared at Alex's. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is barrel, scotch, some pit (that is not overwhelming, thx, God). Dark brown with a thin light brown head. This has a fairly rich aroma, lots of dark fruits, lots of alcohol, woody, touch of molasses, and with a somewhat indistinct whisky note...the notes say smoky but I'm not necessarily getting that. On the palate, this is sweet and smoky, maybe some molasses, and a big whisky character.
