Aroma: coconut, roasted malt, milk chocolate, vanilla.
Appearance: pitch black, small dense head.
Taste: semi-sweet, flavour of coconut, sweet coffee, milk chocolate and vanilla.
Palate: full body, low carbonation.
Overall: Super coconutty, balanced brew, no sharpness whatsoever. Gentle barrel notes boost up the density of a base beer in a such great way, damn I'm impressed.

Finally cracked this, black oily beer, head color of black walnut. Aroma is molasses, shoyu, anise, smoke, vanilla, sour cherries, whiskey. Taste is toast, dark chocolate, sour cherries, vanilla, molasses, anise, rye whiskey, smoke, and that oaky finish drying it out. Outstanding! solid mocha, coffee notes, chocolate, brown sugar, roasted malt notes. With some rye grain spicy character to it. Flavor was incredibly smooth for the ABV... Smooth dark chocolate roasted notes. Wow.
