Nice fruity/cherry aroma - lots of wood, and a touch of the tart. Really reminded me of Hair of the Dog ’Fred from the Wood’ on the nose. Coppery mahogany color with a medium frothy light-brown head. Flavor started sweet, then swiftly showed the Flanders tart/sour (though lightly), some oak, and slowly dried out a bit. Lingering tart/sweet/alcohol/oak finish. Very nice - expected more, but a really well made beer.
Thanks Yetsko for bringing me a vintage 12 bottle! Nice mellowed sour brown. Lots of dark fruit, slight vinegary tartness, still very rich tasting sour. Love the bottle donandres (681) - Makati, PHILIPPINES - NOV 13, 2017

I was excited to try this and it did not disappoint. I love the Oud Bruin style and cherries are by far my favorite fruit in beers. Here it's a near perfect marriage of sweet malt, wild sourness, and juicy cherry. The cherry is not overly candy-ish but more natural, which is a very good thing. For 11% is still fairly bright and lively, perfect for pairing. Yum! stantheman (1101) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 20, 2017
