Pours clear copper with a foamy white head that fades to a ring and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is dark fruits, wine, and some wood. Taste is figs, wine, some sweet malt, and pomegranate. Has sweet fruit finish and aftertaste. Really nice carbonation. Really enjoyable and the alcohol is nearly completely concealed. Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 29, 2012

650 ml bottle. Bought at 16th St Liquor store. Belgian quad nose with light fruit backdrop. Light orange color, cloudy with suspended sediment. Belgian quad taste with spice. Warm. A good beer, but overpriced (in Canada). readbaron (78) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Pours a hazy golden with light foam. Nose is Belgian yeast with cinnamon. Taste matches the nose. Bananas & cinnamon. Not great, but not bad. Honestly, glad I don’t have any of this beer. Not bad, but not good.

Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, riped fruit, dried fruity, grape - wine. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet riped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3 mar 2012, bottle. Gold, lots of bubbles, lots of sediment and haze. Nose is quad yeast, golden syrup, and the faintest fruit notes. Med body and moderately fizzy. Really nice. Champaign and wine notes, slight pomegranate hints, behind the standard belgian strong ale/quad. Great.

On tap at The Daily Pint. Orange amber with a bright white head that dissipated rather quickly to a thin but sturdy film. Moderate lacing inside the tulip glassware. Typical aromas of Belgian yeast, with generous bananas, clove and grapes, and a hint of whiskey. Bright fruit sweetness overlays a bready malt backbone with notes of spice and alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation, sticky almost oily mouthfeel, and a light clean finish. thomas15 (689) - Alabama, USA - FEB 24, 2012
sweetness of quad mirrored and enhanced by slight pomergranite, juxtaposed by wood, and rye spice from two different barrels. crazy ass beer. good though.
