On tap at The Daily Pint. Orange amber with a bright white head that dissipated rather quickly to a thin but sturdy film. Moderate lacing inside the tulip glassware. Typical aromas of Belgian yeast, with generous bananas, clove and grapes, and a hint of whiskey. Bright fruit sweetness overlays a bready malt backbone with notes of spice and alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation, sticky almost oily mouthfeel, and a light clean finish.

sweetness of quad mirrored and enhanced by slight pomergranite, juxtaposed by wood, and rye spice from two different barrels. crazy ass beer. good though.

Pours an amber red with an nice white head. Nose and taste are a bit sweet tarty. Didnt pickup quad on this beer in the slightest. Wild (without the funky yeast and overbearing tart) perhaps. An intersecting America Strong with tart features and malt, bready balance. Interesting for sure but not a must have.

On draft at the Livermore Saloon. It pours a surprising gold color with a creamy white head. This is a Quad? The aroma is fruity with banana, peaches, orange and hints of spice. The flavor has big tropical fruits, peach, mango and mild spice with only distant hints of barrel. I was disappointed that there wasnt more complexity, but it does have a nice spicy finish.

[22oz bottle] Pours a dark hazy golden, almost amber with thin, fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is classic sweet belgian yeast, spice and malt mixed with a tart winey note. Taste has some citrus and crisp white wine notes with a late spice finish as it warms - fun complexity. balanced palate - a touch oily? Thought about aging this one - may do so with the next.

Bottle, Pours deep gold with a white head. Nice Belgian aroma, spice, wood. Good flavor, sweet - but the 11% ABV I thought was well hidden. Decent brew.

Bottle: Pours a pale copper color with a modest haze and whispy white head. Nose is a beautiful blend of Belgian spices, fruity, and yeast. Tastes primarily spicey with some of the yeast coming through. Any fruit elements are gone. Seems to be off the beaten path from other quads... its ok, but it didnt really deliver in the taste dept.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours an almost amber with big head from an aggressive pour. Smell is of Juicy Fruit gum through and through. Taste is complex but outside of citrus notes the fruit is lost. Interesting beer but nothing Id come back to.
