Cloudy amber color with a small light tan head.
Sweetness, sugar, mild whiskey, mild bitterness and some alcohol in the aroma.
The flavor is sweetness, fruits, caramel, more sweetness, some alcohol, dark fruits and prunes. Quad?
Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau. Pours clear whiskey color with minimal off-white head. Not terribly complex, but enjoyable and quaffable. blueshockey24 (607) - Colorado, USA - JAN 3, 2016
Bottle. Pours dark golden. Aroma is fruity with whiskey. Taste is sweet and spicy with a alcohol whiskey sweet spice finish. lingering fruit. Maris (1498) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JAN 2, 2016
From a 650ml bottle on 2/1/2015. Pours a clear dark golden with a small head. The nose is typical big Belgian - fruit, yeast, candy. Take a sip and it’s sweet and fruity, and definitely lighter than you’d normally expect from a quad. This is a really sugary, fruity, oaky sipper, with a hint of warming alcohol. Pretty easy drinking for 11%. The texture is slightly syrupy and the carbonation soft. Not super complex or challenging but very enjoyable. ljthiessen (1324) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 31, 2015

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Slightly hazy golden with small off-white head. The aroma is yeasty with notes of candy, peach and hint of banana. Very sweet flavor with notes of pomegranate and liqueur, very alcoholic, yeasty, some white wine sourness. Full-bodied. Quite hard to drink. Dogbrick (12929) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Sample from 2012 bottle at the Beer Tasting on 11/07/2015. Hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, yeast, oak and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, yeast, cherry and oak. The finish is fruity with a yeast and cherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall. swesson (441) - Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA - NOV 22, 2015
From a bomber. Pours a medium brown and makes a small head with little lacing. Aroma is of fruit, malted barley, and alcohol. Tastes malty and carbonated, with notes of pomegranate and wine. Very pleasing mouthfeel. A fine ale.

Very enjoyable, it has sour notes, and it’s easy to drink despite the alcohol. Not like other quads I’ve had. CaptainBoosh (47) - - NOV 19, 2015
Poured from tap into goblet, red gold, hazy, no sediment. Aroma unripened peach, some cherry. Tastes fruity, sweet, bready but balanced with alcohol and a little tartness. Nice light mouthfeel, good carbonation without being overly fizzy. Very nice.
