On tap @ Deschutes Portland. Pours a deep clear orange. Nose is tangy sweet berries. Taste is boozy, faint pomegranate, oaky whiskey, with candi sugar and clove spice dominating. This is a huge Belgian. Clearly not a traditional quad, and probably outside of Deschutes comfort zone, but good nonetheless.

22 oz bottle in Trappist goblet. 2015 edition. Very different for a quad. 16.5% aged in wine barrels. 16.5% in oak rye whisky barrels and brewed with pomegranate. Quite fruity and fairly sweet. Does have a bit of alcohol burn. Not much head but fabulous aroma. Very complicated.

650ml bottle @ home. 2015 Vintage.
Pours a semi-opaque reddish brown colour with a decent off-white head. Nose is caramel, fruity, some sourness Im assuming from the barrels. Flavour is definitely fruity, it almost comes off as a sour dark cherry, but guessing its white wine and pomegranate. Medium bodied overall.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a snifter. Hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is light candy sugar, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is complex candy sugar and oak.

Lovely quad! Almost smells like a sour but its far from it! Fruity flavors & belgian spice happily meet to create a very good beer! Love the flavor explosion! Delicious!

Bomber, 2015 vintage. Belgian yeast aroma with notes of dark fruit, pomegranate, white wine and light whiskey notes. Pours golden amber colored with a thin white head that has some retention and lacing. Starts with dark fruit, pomegranate and white wine vinous notes. Finishes smooth with spicy Belgian yeast, clove and very light whiskey and oak flavors. Fantastic, flavorful quad.

Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of fruitiness, cookie, yeast, vinous notes, vanilla and light oak. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of cookie, straw, fruitiness, light vanilla, light vinous notes, light yeast and a hint of oak with a smooth lingering fruity finish.
