COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Ale for the long days of summer. Twilight’s solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops for flavors every bit as intriguing as bigger, heavier ales. A back porch, lingering sunset wonder.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Soft citrus on the nose, a bit of malt and a touch of fruit. Medium bodied, soft malt and a bit of sweetness, a touch of fruit. Soft and malty, a bit of fruit. Simple and easy, not a ton going on though.

"not really a blonde, but not really a pale ale.. way too hoppy to be classified as such, even though it’s still a pretty mellow ale. Clean, quite smooth, nothing spectacular."

I was pleasantly surprised to see this one stacked up in a private Vancouver store, but didn’t want to waste my budget on another blond. Then even more pleasantly surprised to find this on tap at St. Augustine’s. It was plasantly surprisingly hoppy, this is a pale ale, with orange citus taste. Faint hops. Nicely drinkable.

GABF-on tap-pours a dissipating foamy white head with gold color. Taste is mild flat hops. OK carbonation.

deyholla (12205) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has lots of grass with some sweet grains and a hint of underlying light fruits. Flavor combines grain and grass with a growing sweetness towards the finish.

Draught at the Deschutes Taproom, Portland, OR.
Cloudy orange golden colour with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity and floral hops, mild bitterness and mild sweetness in the aroma. Sweet fruity hops, mild bitterness and some sweet maltiness in the flavour. Easy and fruity.

2.6
daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 5, 2010
Apricot pour, white head. Lightly hoppy aroma with some basic caramel malt and an unpleasant graniny smell. Flavor is ok on the hoppy side, malts taste bland and old. Has almost a macro flavor to it. Mouthfeel isn’t good.

2.3
BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUL 25, 2011
Tap. Not gonna lie - this blows. Gold amber pour with a fairly substantial white head. Smells like a Czech pils and sweat sock. Dry on the tongue. Bready biscuit taste without any redeeming hop flavor elements. APA? Come on - make an attempt. Deschutes is better than this.
