Pretty good. Malty flavor with some cherries and honey in the background. Light yeast as well. No bitterness at all. Could have used a little more body and spice, something to balance it. Smooth and drinkable, but not the most flavorful beer. DiabolikDUB (147) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 21, 2009
On-Tap @ the Portland Brew Pub poured into a Imperial Pint glass.
Pours a muddy deep brown in color with an inch of tan bubbly head that dissolves into a ring around the glass. Aroma is light in banana and clove with a bready yeast and a touch of toasted malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malts, wheat and citrus zest. Its a light-medium bodied beer that is fairly lively. Definitely a nice beer and drinkable but not to the standard of an Aventinus but then again that is on another realm on most levels. BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - APR 30, 2008
Tap @ the brewpub - This has a very yeasty quality throughout, very present in the nose, with cloves and banana, but very bready in the malt backbone, with some some sugary sweet seasoning and a large bit of caramel maltiness.. Not bad, I would drink this again if I had the chance. IndianaRed (5031) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 15, 2007
On Tap at the BrewPub in Bend, OR
A cloudy orange/brown with a long lasting light tan head. Very faint aroma of carmel malts with a touch of that belgian yeast. Flavor was big time Weizen clove and banana and some brown sugar malt goodness. Very little bittering (only 15 IBUs listed) and an overall well rounded flavor profile. Slight unfiltered feel on the pallatte..make that chalky..

Hazy brownish amber, with a small ring of foam. Great fruity banana bread nose. Sweet maltiness. Spicy cola flavors, fragrant and sweet, but a bit musty in the finish. Dried fruits, very low in alcohol and leaves me wanting a bigger beer experience, but still very tasty.
