From notes. Tasted on 12/23/12 on tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark orange with a thick tan head that leaves thick, coating lace. The nose is sweet caramel, a touch of bubblegum, and some dusty bitter hops. The flavor is the same sweet caramel and bubblegum up front with the hops showing nicely bitter. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long sweet caramel and bitter hops finish. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - DEC 20, 2012
On tap at the brewery; shocked this was considered a double IPA. Poured an amber/orange color. Aroma was malty and buttery; Flavor was too and a bit of a mess. Some sweetness and alcohol. Perhaps a bad batch? JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Hazy orange pour, citrusy aroma. Tasty but not very hoppy. Enjoyable brew.
