On cask at the brewery
There were toasted malts, fruity/earthy hop character, some fruitiness from the yeast. I enjoyed this with a nice roast beef sandwich, yum!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark red/brown with a nice tan head. The aroma is mostly malts. The taste is dominated by a spicy and malty mix along with a sweet finish. Has a nice clean feel to it, and is pretty good. Not really bitter, but nevertheless nice.
On cask May 12, 2008. I really liked this on cask, the body had a really creamy head but that awesome smoothness of a cask beer. Nice one.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – Light in malt aroma missing the key bitter aromas. Reddish in color with a thin head. This was light in malty flavor and the bittering flavors where almost not there. This was hit by the Utah Beer laws and missed the bitter boat.
