Cask at the brewpub. Almost clear brownish amber, small head. Resiny from nose to finish. Some caramel and grapefruit, light-medum bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeeel. Notes of chlorine in a resiny finish.

On tap @ Desert Edge. Clear lighter orange colored beer with white foam. Decent enough orange peel, but overall sort of sweet and slightly sugary for my tastes. Lots of jammy fruit and marmalade. Sort of a grassy bitterness to it and maybe a light herbal note.

on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is nice sweet/citrus cascade hops. Taste is nice sweet/citrus cascade hops-some bitter/grapefruit, secondary medium malt. Nice APA, aroma better than taste. Mild carbonation.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2008 On tap at the Bayou. Pours a light gold with a decent white head. The aroma is strong hops-grapefruit and pine. The taste is mostly a nice bitter hops and a citrus element. Unbalanced, thin, and too weak. But overall, pretty darn good. One of Utah’s better beers.

Very pale golden beer, slightly hazy with a thin white head. Nice hoppy nose. A bit of spiciness and a bit of cascade fruitiness. Some yeasty crispness. Crisp and minerally bitterness. Very lean body, but this seems to help with the drinkability. I like this... a simple, crisp, quaffable ale.

Tap. Pours clear Amber, small off white head, some lacing. Aroma is pine and caramel. Flavors is light plus sweet, light bitter, a bit nutty. Light plus body, low carbonation.

Poured up on tap at the Desert Edge with clear copper body and white head. The aroma offers up a bit of roasted malts and a good dose of pine hops. The taste is pretty roasty with malts for the style but is balanced by bitter citrus hops and pine hop resin as well as a touch of caramel. Full bold flavored brew for the style.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2005 This is the same amber hue as their Munich lager, but with a great head that adhered to the glass. There’s a powerful grapefruity nose. This is a superbly balanced hoppy-malted beer. Very, very good!!

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007

On Tap – High hops aroma with a deep dark golden color. Nice IPA with a clean flavor. The hops where a surprise nice and easy drinking IPA. Nothing over the top this was the best at the brewery.
