Draft at Destihl. This was actually done in the keg this time. Pours a deep brown with an offwhite head. The nose is earthy, moreso than the base beer. Hops are more subdued. Rich malt and faint cocoa comes as it warms. On tasting, moderate cocoa richness balances the bitterness overall. Really clean and interesting. I really like the interplay of the nibs with the base beer a lot. Really cool and well done! TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 29, 2012
